Clinical Lecturer in Geriatric Medicine

Salary:   £26,614 to £46,208 Per annum

This post will provide clinical training within an academic framework and create the opportunity to develop research proposals within a structured clinical training environment.  

You will already be an SpR in Geriatric Medicine and have gained MRCP and a PhD or equivalent by the time the appointment commences. Approximately 50% of your time will be devoted to academic activity, including undergraduate teaching.  You will be expected to have an established track record in clinical research and be committed to an academic career.  Your research will be based in Academic Geriatric Medicine within the Human Development and Health Academic Unit of the Faculty of Medicine (www.som.soton.ac.uk/research).
