An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mechanical Engineering Operations Team for an Assistant Mechanical Engineer to join our established team to oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on the Mechanical and Plumbing systems across the University's estate.

You will be based at the Highfield Campus and be expected to travel to other sites as you are responsible for the delivery of statutory and mandatory maintenance work on our varied estate which consists of a mixture of newly constructed and older buildings. 

The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications in a Mechanical or Plumbing discipline and successfully completed an apprenticeship or eqivalent training programme.
