For this role we are seeking a candidate to work within the Printed Textiles pathway of the Fashion and Textile Design programme, working with students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. This role will complement our existing Technical Services team.

To be successful you will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of printed textiles and particularly screen-printing fabric, repeat image exposure, heat transfer, dyeing, steaming, sewing machines and other associated processes. You will possess a good working knowledge of digital printing and be up to date with technological advances in the area. Candidates will have experience of working in a busy environment and possess excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures.  

Candidates should have an aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their design vision.
