We are looking for a proactive Customer Services Advisor to join our Information team, within the Careers and Employability Service.  As the first point of contact by phone, email and in person for students, employers and other stakeholders, your role will be as an ambassador for the service, ensuring that all customers are supported appropriately and a professional image is conveyed at all times.

You will provide information to University of Southampton students/graduates and other customers on all aspects of the Careers and Employability Services as well as maintaining the Careers Centre to ensure a welcoming environment and access to up-to-date resources.  You may need to refer enquiries to other departments within Careers, Student Services or the wider University, so you will need to develop a thorough knowledge of services on offer.

This post presents an exciting opportunity for an efficient and exceptionally motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment undertaking a range of roles in the working day.

As part of the interview, applicants will need to complete two short assessment tasks. One will be an email response to information supplied and a role-play telephone call. This will be followed by a panel interview and will all take place on 24th July.

Please note that Student Services use generic job descriptions. For this post, you will be recruited against our Customer Services Advisor job description, which is attached for full details. As a result, your contract and day-to-day job title will be as per this job description.
