Future Worlds is an on-campus startup accelerator helping University of Southampton entrepreneurs change the world with their ideas. Powered by millionaire investors and seasoned mentors, our students and researchers get the advice and funding they need and their startups are showcased on the global stage. Our networking events and engaging talks inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and our purpose-built Accelerator Space hosts up to 15 resident startups and plays a vital role in growing the entrepreneurial culture at the University. 

The Tech Acceleration Coordinator will play a vital role in Future Worlds’ work surrounding our Impact Acceleration Activity. The University of Southampton is the only UK university to exhibit at CES; every year Future Worlds takes incredible startups and spinouts to showcase their technology on the world stage. You will support the Future Worlds team in executing our CES strategy, a crucial piece of work for accelerating our startups and spinouts to success, providing much needed assistance to the Director, Events & Marketing Officer, Tech Acceleration Manager and Studio Manager.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable and organised candidate who has excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to make an impact. If you are not genuinely excited by the world of startups and spinouts then this isn’t the role for you. Our team is passionate about entrepreneurship and the candidate will co-operate closely with them as well as working with faculty staff, academics, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and high-profile external stakeholders.
