We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our management team within the University of Southampton’s Early Years Centre. This is a role which requires commitment and enthusiasm.

You will be responsible for helping in the delivery of a quality provision of care and education for children under five. Applicants should be able to plan and organise your work efficiently and effectively, including working to deadlines whilst meeting priorities.

The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, time and project management and communication skills (both written and verbal) and have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), also experienced in using financial processes including NEF funding, invoicing and account balancing. Experience of supervision of others is also essential.

Applicants must hold an Early Years Professional or Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent (e.g. Education Studies Early Childhood).

A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service clearance at Enhanced level is also required.
