An opportunity is available supporting the peaks and troughs of activity across all the Student and Academic Administration functional teams in the Faculty of Social Sciences. These teams administer the processes and support to students and academics throughout the student life-cycle, from application through to graduation at undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research levels.

In addition, this role comprises an element of dedicated work supporting and delivering the University and Faculty Education strategy as it relates to the Student Experience. 

The role offers the opportunity to experience a wide range of higher education administration, along with the opportunity to understand the wider context of the delivery of the education strategy.

You will possess relevant academic qualifications and have broad work experience. You will also have good IT skills, excellent planning and organisational skills, initiative, ability to work well under pressure and the ability to prioritise varied workloads. Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required, as is a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.  Attention to detail is a must, along with flexibility and being receptive to new ideas and approaches.
