iSolutions at the University of Southampton, have an excellent opportunity for a 12 month, FTC for a 0365 Training Specialist. 

ISolutions is a large department within the University’s Professional Services Group. We provide a complex range of ICT services to support our user community of over 25,000 students and 6,400 staff.

About the role

Responsible to the ITT & D Manager and working closely with our 0365 project Team. 

You will be responsible for building and executing a training strategy and plan for our client migration to Microsoft Office 365.

To efficiently source, design, develop, and embed highly effective Microsoft 0365 solutions for our end users of approximately 4000 employees at the university.

Through partnerships with colleagues within the business, and the 0365 team you will provide sustainable support/learning materials for Office 365.

About you

As a qualified 0365 training professional or with a strong background in Microsoft technologies you’re used to successfully facilitating groups at all levels using a broad range of approaches. 

We are looking for someone who understands how people work and how they learn systems and IT in the work environment.  A person who is able to bring this thinking to develop, design and source a range of blended learning solutions. 

Excellent planning and organising skills will support you to prioritise multiple projects.  Highly effective at building relationships using exceptional communication skills across all levels of the University to quickly gain the confidence of a variety of stakeholders.

Patient and tolerant with the ability to adapt to changing circumstance, thinking on your feet and ability to deal with demanding situations is crucial to this role

The need to work collaboratively, with the ITT&D team, iSolutions, Professional Services and the project teams they support.

The key challenges will be competing priorities for developing and sourcing 0365 app learning solutions, engaging with diverse user communities, project teams and understanding their priorities and constraints.

We are particularly interested to meet candidates:

  • with extensive knowledge of Office 365
  • experience of delivering 0ffice 365 training
  • experience at sourcing, developing and delivering systems and IT online and self-paced learning solutions using eLearning software packages
  • who are able to build first class relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation 
  • used to working as a learning consultant
  • with excellent training needs analysis skills
  • with experience of using content management systems
  • who have an understanding of EU accessibility guidelines
