The Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) Research Group at University of Southampton (UoS) is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager at 0.3 FTE for 21 months. University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is one of three national centres providing a comprehensive diagnostic and management service for UK patients with PCD. The post holder will join a vibrant multidisciplinary PCD team at UoS and UHS consisting of clinical health care professionals and scientists. In addition they will collaborate with PCD researchers throughout Europe and US in a number of ongoing research projects.
The post holder will be responsible for project planning and co-ordination, the project’s operational requirements, financial monitoring and reporting.
Considerable project management skills, with demonstrable experience in successful project delivery, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as ability to multitask and prioritise workload. The post holder will hold an honorary contract with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
A standard/enhanced DBS check may be required for this role.
