We are looking to recruit a Senior Research Fellow to work on an important new ESRC-funded research project on Parental social licence for operational data linkage and analytics to identify families for service intervention. The study aims to fill a vital gap in knowledge and inform public understanding about: rationales for data linkage and analytics for intervention, consensus for data linkage and risk modelling among parents of dependent children, how different social groups of parents understand the issues involved, and the experiences of parents engaging with family service interventions.

This 30-month position will include taking responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of the project; consultation and negotiation with statutory and voluntary sector organisations, advisory group members, and research participants; liaison with data collection and communication/dissemination agencies; and involvement in writing up. You will have a PhD in a relevant social science discipline and have demonstrable good quantitative and excellent qualitative methods skills and experience. Interviews will be held in mid-March.
