We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Music Education (or related field) on a part time (0.4 FTE) temporary basis (6 months) from 1 February 2022. Teaching will be delivered through a mixture of face-to-face and online methods. There is some flexibility around which days the work takes place. 

You will likely hold a PhD in a relevant field (e.g. music education, community music, instrumental pedagogy) or be able to demonstrate equivalent professional qualifications/career experience. You will join the teaching team delivering the Music Education pathway of our MMus programme, supervising individual projects and working on modules including MUSI6029 Performance Teaching. 

This position requires excellent communication skills as well as the capability to teach in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will be part of an enthusiastic and collegial team, lecturing, leading seminars and delivering tutorials. You will need the ability to work with others and be able to adapt to different teaching approaches suitable for an effective international student learning experience.
