            <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Southampton is welcoming applications for a postdoctoral position in the field of advanced manufacturing and materials. The research will be conducted within the Computational Engineering &amp; Design Group of the Department, on a fixed term - full time contract for a duration of 33 months.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>The role&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The role is an Innovation Action within a Horizon Europe funded research project coordinated by the University of Southampton that will deliver an Industry 5.0 AI-enabled digital framework that streamlines remanufacturing in the automotive sector. You will need to lead the methodological framework for remanufacturing in the automotive sector in collaboration with the consortium participants from 9 different countries.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About you</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will hold a PhD or equivalent and will already be demonstrating potential for research excellence in your postdoctoral activity.           <title><![CDATA[Research Fellow in Experimental Fluid Mechanics (3419226DA)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted">We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow to join our Experimental Fluid Mechanics team!&nbsp;</p><p>You will work under the supervision of Prof. Bharathram Ganapathisubramani, collaborating with PhD students and other postdoctoral researchers within the group.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Carry our measurements of turbulent flows under realistic conditions (effects of roughness, pressure gradient, surface textures etc)</li><li>Develop relevant new diagnostic techniques to access new aspects of the flow</li><li>Analyse data and develop new data-driven models that can be used for predictions</li><li>Publish and present findings in relevant journals/conferences.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>You should hold a PhD (or equivalent experience) in Aerodynamics or Fluid Mechanics. Experimental experience is essential; Excellent communication and writing skills are required.</p><p>Equality, diversity and Inclusion is central to the ethos in the School of Engineering.
