            <p id="isPasted">The organisation and delivery of University Open Days for Undergraduate and Postgraduate prospective students is an essential component to recruit high quality students and showcase what the University of Southampton has to offer. &nbsp;</p><p>The Student Recruitment, Marketing and Events Department is looking to recruit an events expert, with experience of large-scale event delivery to organise this key activity as a maternity cover. &nbsp;Ideally the post holder will have an understanding of the education sector, but this isn&rsquo;t essential. &nbsp;A proven record of complex event management with multiple stakeholders will be required as well as a passion for the sector to deliver what is expected from our prospective students. &nbsp;</p><p>The role will manage a small team to organise the Open Days but will be supported by the wider team during event delivery and is expected to support other in person and virtual events delivered within the Student Recruitment Event Team. &nbsp;</p><p>For an informal chat or to ask questions on this role please contact Aimie Bellwood &ndash; Head of Student Recruitment Events by email <a href="mailto:a.k.bellwood@southampton.ac.uk">a.k.bellwood@southampton.ac.uk</a> &nbsp;</p>

            <p id="isPasted">We are looking for an exceptional marketing leader to be shape the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across brand, reputation and student recruitment for the University of Southampton.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This role shapes and delivers high-impact, audience-focused integrated marketing campaigns across global markets, ensuring optimal use of paid, owned and earned channels to engage and convert our audiences and elevate our brand. The post holder will report to the Associate Director Marketing and Recruitment Events and liaise closely with the wider External Relations leadership during the briefing process and through regular reporting for each campaign strand.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Acting as a senior leader, the role provides strategic direction and alignment across teams, joining up the dots and fostering collaboration with academic and Professional Services colleagues, students, and external partners.</p><p>The post holder will lead of team of marketing managers and coordinators to deliver impactful activity across the full marketing mix from proposition development to promotion and conversion. They will be a vital link between a wide range of teams ensuring that we anticipate audience needs, respond to sector trends and that our campaigns are optimised to deliver the strategic outcomes the university is looking for.</p><p>This postholder will require excellent communication skills and should enjoy leading a busy team in a large organisation.
