At the heart of this transformation is the Triple Helix model of Education, Research and Knowledge Exchanged &amp; Enterprise which integrates high-quality teaching, world-class research, and active collaboration with industry, government, and communities to deliver tangible societal and economic impact.</p><p><strong>The role:</strong></p><p>As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking to appoint an <strong>Assistant Professor in Computer Science&nbsp;</strong>to support the continued growth of our Computer Science portfolio within the School of Electronics and Computer Science, including undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.</p><p>The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching across areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Management, Natural Language Processing, Cloud Computing, and related computing disciplines. They will also contribute to curriculum development, student supervision, research activities, and the wider academic life of the School.</p><p>This role requires an educator and researcher who is committed to delivering engaging, innovative and student-centred learning experiences while advancing research excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, developing assessments, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, contributing to curriculum enhancement, and supporting the University&#39;s research strategy through high-quality scholarly activities and industry collaboration.</p><p><strong>About you:</strong></p><p>We particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing or related Computer Science disciplines, and with experience in applying these technologies to real-world challenges. Candidates with industry experience who can bridge the gap between academic theory and contemporary computing practice through the integration of practical case studies and emerging technologies are especially encouraged to apply.</p><p>You will join a collaborative and inclusive academic community committed to excellence in education, impactful research and meaningful engagement with industry and society.
