We are looking to recruit a Clinical Research Fellow to join the dermatology research group. A particular focus of this post will be to contribute to an exciting project jointly involving immunologists, protein chemists and industrial partners to understand the molecular mechanisms important in allergic contact dermatitis. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspect of the groups work but will be responsible for recruitment of dermatology patients / controls and immunology testing of the peripheral blood samples. Additionally, the successful candidate will get exposure to clinical dermatology clinics in a supernumerary manner, which would be ideal experience to benefit application for a dermatology training number. 

The post would suit a medially qualified individual post MRCP, (pre or post ST2 or pre ST3). No prior job experience of the speciality of dermatology is required but an enthusiasm for the field or related discipline would be expected. Additionally, the successful applicant would be expected to show a keen interest in research. Although this fellowship will not allow adequate time to complete a higher degree, it would be an ideal starting point to undertake one. 

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
