NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Ophthalmology (SpR Grade) at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust

*Please note: successful applicants will be appointed to a different salary range (£33,127 to £58,593) if they were at ST3 on or before 2 August 2016.

This post is based within the Southampton Eye Unit, Southampton General Hospital with excellent clinical and laboratory research facilities available in the Clinical Neurosciences Research group of the University Of Southampton, co-located on the same hospital site.

You will already be a SpR in Ophthalmology, have a NTN and have gained MRCOphth and a PhD or equivalent by the time the appointment commences.  Approximately 50% of your time will be devoted to protected academic activity, including undergraduate teaching.  You will be expected to have an established track record in clinical or basic science and be committed to an academic career.
