The Faculty of Medicine is seeking to make an appointment to the newly created post of Facilities Business Operations Manager.
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Infrastructure (ADI), this role will be responsible for supporting the management of the Faculty supported Core Research Facilities, helping develop and maintain a strategic framework for each facility and inform Faculty planning and prioritisation in line with University policy. This role will have a mix of operation and project management, with the opportunity to help shape the future of the research facilities.
We are seeking an individual with a high skill level equivalent to achievement of HND, Degree, NVQ4 or basic professional qualification in an administrative or professional services role. They will have proven experience in planning and progressing work, be able to develop strategies, adept at learning new skills, and have the confidence to deliver fresh ideas.
