We are looking to appoint an engaging and collaborative Director of Capital and Investment to lead the strategic framework for the University’s ambitious capital and revenue investment programme. Working across the University Executive, this role will drive sustainable strategic decision making, assessing affordability and funding options for investment and ongoing commitments. Reporting to the Executive Director Finance, this new role will manage the significant strategic investment activity undertaken across the University. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a university that has a strategic growth ambition, and this role will be key in enabling this to be achieved. 

The Director will have significant experience working at a strategic level, developing plans to support and contribute to the strategy of a large complex organisation.  You’ll also have good knowledge of the accounting standards for capital and revenue project accounting.

You will have a confident and collaborative approach, proven experience of implementing successful change management initiatives and formulating strategic plans that reflect and support the priority needs of an organisation.
