Please note: This role will be either ERE Level 4 (PPIE Research Fellow) or MSA Level 4 (PPIE Officer)

The Primary Care Research Centre (PCRC) is seeking a dynamic Public Partnership Involvement & Engagement (PPIE) Officer or Research Fellow to work with the existing team to develop and deliver an exciting public involvement, engagement, outreach and communications strategy. We have an innovative portfolio of public involvement and engagement activities that we are aiming to expand and develop.

If you are applying for the MSA position, you will need to have skill level equivalent to achievement of HND, Degree, NVQ4 or basic professional qualification and relevant experience working with patients and the public.

If you are applying for the ERE position, you will need to have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in health or social care research. Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. and organisational skills. You will have a proven record of managing your own time and strong organisational skills. Experience working with a diverse range of patients and/or the public is essential. Having previous experience of working in health or research communications and/or public involvement and engagement in research will be a strong advantage.
