This is an exceptional time to be joining the University of Southampton and its Integration and Automation Services team within the University’s IT department, iSolutions. 

About the Role

This is a key role in support of the Data Integration project. 

The primary goal is to implement a modern Data Integration solution aligned with a robust Identity Governance structure to provide a platform that underpins the University’s Digital Strategy aims for Organisational Excellence. This will align the identity system with the University's strategic growth plan, especially supporting the international growth agenda and desire to provide a more personalised digital experience for staff and students. 

What you’ll do 

  • Work closely with existing staff members and 3rd Party provider to implement the new Azure platform.
  • Migrate existing Biztalk & SSIS interfaces into the cloud.
  • Produce and maintain detailed, well-structured documentation to assist with the handover at the end of the project.
  • Deliver coaching and mentor colleagues within the team.

What you’ll bring 

  • Experience of the implementation of MS Azure solution
  • Understanding of the MS Azure platform
  • Knowledge of migrating Biztalk & SSIS interfaces from on premises to the cloud
  • Use of Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIM, Grid, ADF, Azure Functions & Azure Synaps.
  • The integrity required to work with both commercially sensitive and personally identifiable information.
