Marketing Communications Officer
About the role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an individual with excellent communication and strong administrative skills to join our dynamic marketing communications team. By becoming part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to network and forge strong working relationships across the organisation, supporting us in communicating to our audiences through a variety of mediums, about our world-leading research, staff, students and graduates from the University of Southampton.
What you’ll do
- You will use your strong project administration skills to support our project managers on a wide range of brand communication projects.
- Coordinate content for a variety of brand communication and marketing projects, which include university prospectuses, print and digital publications, websites and SharePoint.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout projects.
What you’ll bring
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards all projects.
- A keen eye for detail and design, with a high-level of accuracy when proofing design and copy edits.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
