We have an exciting opportunity available with Human Resources for a HR Transactions Administration Assistant to provide high-quality HR administrative support for all University staff and casual workers.
The role is available on a full-time (36 hours a week), permanent basis.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals who are interested in embarking on a career in HR and there are often opportunities to progress for those who want to develop within HR.
You will provide high-quality, timely, and customer-focused administrative support, this role is essential for the team to deliver an efficient and effective service to the University.
You will make effective and accurate use of the HR/Payroll system (Resourcelink), the visitor database (IDM) and the University’s ticket system (ServiceNow), to input and revise data and produce contractual and other documentation within defined quality standards and service level agreements. Tasks will include; set up of casual workers to the University, set up of visitors to the University, producing employment references and more.

About you:
You will be naturally well-organised, enjoy working as part of a busy and varied team, have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure. Although previous administration experience is an advantage, we are looking for motivated individuals who are keen and willing to learn new skills and systems.
You will have great communication and organisational skills, strive to provide excellent customer service, and be experienced in using Microsoft Office applications.

Our HR department works across Highfield Campus and One Guildhall Square, but your main work location will be One Guildhall Square. Both offices have easy access to public transport, restaurants, coffee shops and a University gym.
There will also be an opportunity to work flexibly from home, but you will be required to come into the office at least once a week.
