The Department of Psychology at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint a clinical academic with expertise in Low Intensity CBT for mild to moderate Depression and Anxiety Disorders, to join our programme team for PG Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with NHS TT PWP status.
You will be a Qualified PWP with 2 year post qualifying experience with experience delivering Low Intensity CBT (LICBT) to people with anxiety and depression, and a working knowledge of NHS TT (Formally IAPT) services.
You will join our respected LICBT team, which is committed to excellent training and ensuring our students are competent and confident to deliver LICBT in high-pressure NHS TT services. The role involves teaching on the PG Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status, liaising with key NHS and university stakeholders, as well as observing and assessing our students.
You will have a proven track record in teaching and supervision. Experience in organisational aspects of NHS service provision would be advantageous. Applicants with an interest in developing their own research programme are particularly welcome, and would be supported by colleagues working on our CBT Programmes, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and wider Department.
