Winchester School of Art is one of the UK’s leading art and design schools, with a well-established reputation for excellence and innovation. Our Collaborative programme in Dalian, China has for 7 years been educating some of the most talented Fashion and Graphic Design students in that country. We wish to recruit academics with a background in Fashion/Textile Design to work on our Chinese campus where they can join a dynamic learning environment and share their contemporary knowledge and expertise in design and media.

To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate solid experience and expertise in all aspects of Fashion Design education. You will need to lead a team of Fashion Design Teaching Fellows, supervise students and oversee the development of a top class Fashion Design university programme.

We are seeking an experienced, creative practitioner with technical expertise in all aspects of Fashion Design to complement our existing team.

You will manage the teaching, assessment activities, administration, curriculum development and organization of the Fashion Design module. You will be based in the city of Dalian, in the northeast of China, which is one of the most modern and vibrant cities in China. 

This position will based at Dalian Polytechnic University and University of Southampton collaborative programme.
