We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual to join our Student Enterprise Team in the University of Southampton Careers and Employability Service, to deliver advice, guidance and support to students in business start-up and social enterprise activity. 

Working with the Head of Student Enterprise, we are seeking individuals with excellent organisational and project management skills, who can deliver to deadlines and manage multiple activities.  You will be a confident, credible and enthusiastic individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to run training sessions and workshops. You will be able to engage and motivate students. 

Business start-up experience, and/or experience of delivering a programme of support to students in enterprise and entrepreneurship, ideally within a Higher Education context, is desirable for the role. In the role, you will be developing students’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of enterprise skills, and advising and guiding those students who have business start-up ideas through a central programme of support. You will be able to provide evidence of sector knowledge and demonstrate successful outcomes achieved. It is also desirable for you to have a strong interest (or willingness to develop expertise) in social enterprise.

Applicants should be able to commit to evening and occasional weekend work as a requirement of the role.
