A new opportunity has arisen to join the Banner Change Programme of Work for a two year period, supporting the programme and stakeholders across the University through a period of change. Working closely with Student and Academic Administration and the University’s iSolutions department, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects in two areas: Banner (our student records system) and HESA Data Futures.

As the Change Manager, you will work closely with the programme team to identify business changes: this will include people, process and system changes.  You will work to fully understand the impact of these changes and partner with colleagues across the University to implement them.  Your excellent communication skills will support a smooth and effective programme of change.

The focus of the role is to engage and communicate with colleagues about a range of system and process changes which are being made over the two year period. Therefore we’re seeking someone with potential to develop communications plans and engagement strategies, and implement them effectively.

You will already have change insight/experience, and understand how to engage stakeholders in the change process. You will have a highly professional approach, be able to work with staff at all levels. You will demonstrate excellent direct and indirect communication skills appropriate for a wide cross-section of stakeholders, and using a wide range of communication methods (which may range from facilitating workshop discussions to written documentation). You will need to be self-motivated and well organised with strong attention to detail, and you will be able to persevere with tasks until they are accomplished.
