Our placements team were awarded the “Best University Placement Service” at the 2019 National Undergraduate Employability Awards, and a rewarding opportunity has arisen to join this successful team in this full-time, permanent, student-facing role.

As a placements advisor, you will work closely with students to enable them to secure work placements as part of their undergraduate course. You will co-deliver employability-related teaching to our first and second year undergraduates, visit students in the workplace, and inspire more students to undertake placements as part of their course.

Confident building relationships with external organisations, you will have strong communication skills, and be able to develop effective links with businesses in order to enhance the opportunities available to our students. You will work with students across all of our undergraduate programmes in Southampton Business School, developing your understanding of our educational offering and professional recruitment practices.
