The School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support administrative activities and be the first point of contact in the School’s Student Office for both Students and Staff. 

This post would suit someone who enjoys helping people with queries, is flexible, receptive to new ideas and is able to work autonomously with a variable workload.  The successful applicant will be positive, demonstrate sensitivity to diversity and show a student-centred approach.

This role offers variety as the Student Office for Health Sciences supports Student Records, Assessments, Placements, and the provision of short courses for professional development.  You will be part of the Student Records Administration team, but will also support other teams in the office.    

You will have excellent communication skills, be well-organised with the ability to multi-task and to work well as part of a team. You will be able to work independently with close attention to detail and ideally have customer service experience. 

You must also be a competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
