Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Academic Practice, to join the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) at the University of Southampton. CHEP was created as part of the University’s ambitious 10 year plan to provide comprehensive world-leading professional development for all staff and doctoral researchers at all stages of their career development across the life course.   Located within the Faculty of Social Sciences, CHEP provides support for academic staff across the University.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in contributing to the design, development, delivery and evaluation of professional development activities offered by CHEP in support of its strategic ambitions and the University's ‘Simply Better’ Strategy. The post-holder will focus on professional development for learning and teaching, however there will be opportunities to contribute to the wider academic practice remit of the Centre.

The appointment is a permanent post commencing in January 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.  The working pattern is flexible and will be discussed with the successful applicant.
