An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator (fixed term to end November 2020) to support the implementation of an integrated marketing plan within an assigned faculty.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain marketing experience in an exciting, dynamic organisation and to experience marketing in a global environment. You will be part of a wider Communications and Marketing team, which provides professional leadership for all communications and marketing activity across the University.

This post requires a self-motivated and proactive individual to provide operational planning and organisation of a busy workload, dealing with multiple projects simultaneously and often conflicting deadlines. You will have previous experience of working with colleagues at all levels to deliver creative marketing and communications solutions. This will require demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication skills; personal agility, excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. 

Full details of the position are in the Role Description, but responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of allocated projects as well as coordinating and facilitating marketing and communications activities across a range of online and offline channels
  • Undertaking research and performing analysis, manipulation and interpretation of specialised data to create reports and highlight and prioritise issues
  • Reviewing procedures and processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, and delivering innovative solutions
  • Maintaining operational marketing plans and providing accurate reports to colleagues

Excellent relationship building skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain good working relationships both within and outside the organisation. The post will require the holder to possess excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills. 

You should have a relevant NVQ3 / HNC / A-Level / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification or experience. Previous marketing experience in a similar role would be desirable.

This post is fixed term until end of November 2020 to cover maternity leave.
