The Department of Archaeology at the University of Southampton seeks to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Archaeology and Maritime Archaeology to cover for staff secondment to other roles. The successful candidate will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching on our Archaeology and our Maritime Archaeology programmes. Duties may include running practical sessions in the field or in the classroom as well as lectures, tutorials and student project supervision.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject area and proven teaching experience. Knowledge of scientific diving and/or an appropriate diving qualification would be desirable.
