Come and join our team that work on projects including CyberKit4SME and HD-Sec. Objectives of the research are twofolds. On the one hand they include providing cyber security tools that help small to medium enterprises (SME's) become aware of, analyse, forecast and manage cyber security and data protection risks. CERT/CSIRTs. On the other, we aim at developing formal methods and software verification techniques leveraging the possibilities offered by new capability hardware such as the CHERI architecture

To be successful you will have a Ph.D*. or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in computer science or a relevant field with preference for internet-of-things related areas.  In addition, you will have experience in one or more of these area: distributed ledger (blockchain) technologies, internet-of-things, smart-energy, cyber security and research and practical expertise in several of the following areas: cyber risk modelling, analysis and management, blockchain protocols and infrastructures, cyber threats intelligence international standards, secure information models (STIX), attribute-based encryption (TAXII), machine learning models and applications, capability hardware (CHERI), and formal methods and software verification applied to data and capability hardware security.
