Salary:   £30,942 to £32,817 Pro rata per annum

Come and join our team undertaking ground breaking research. 

You will be working on an EPSRC funded project on magneto optic materials, devices and sensors. The post is available at 1FTE for 6 months or 0.5FTE for 12 months. To be successful you will have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in optoelectronics and experience in dealing with optical fibres and related devices and components. 

The post will be based at Highfield campus and will involve experimental work in labs. It will also be collaborative within a group of 12 people.

Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.  The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD.  Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
