This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join our busy Curriculum and Quality Assurance (CQA) Team in the Faculty of Medicine.  The Curriculum and Quality Assurance team works to meet the University’s stated policies, processes and procedures as set out in the Quality Handbook, working with academic and clinical colleagues across Professional Services. The team supports areas such as programme and module creation, approval and maintenance, periodic programme reviews, quality assurance of NHS placements and Professional Body accreditation, student evaluations, policy development and administration, the management of academic appeals, complaints, academic integrity and fitness to practise procedures, and the appointment of and support for external examiners. 

You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively.  You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach to managing a busy workload. You must have experience of taking minutes and be able to summarise meetings accurately. Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

At present, in addition to some on-campus working where/if the business need requires, you would be expected to mostly work remotely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The salary will be £20,675  on appointment, progressing to £24,461 through annual increments.
