Student Services is a diverse group of services and providing the very best student experience is at the heart of everything we do. We have a brand new and exciting opportunity to join us as part of our new Student Co-Design and Insights team.  

The role 

Reporting to our Head of Student Engagement, the successful postholder will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative opportunities that actively involve students in co-designing their university experience. Working in collaboration with key stakeholders across the University, the team are called upon to gather, analyse and respond to student insights, ranging across all aspects of the student experience and feeding directly into university strategies, policies and developments. Example areas of responsibility will include the implementation of a University-wide student panel as well as contributing to evidence-based evaluation of the work of the Student Engagement function.  

What we are looking for 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Significant passion for working collaboratively with students  
  • Experience in project management roles, however this does not need to be specifically within Higher Education  
  • The ability to quickly develop relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues from across the University and Students’ Union  
  • Proven knowledge and experience of data capture and evaluation methods 

Skill level equivalent to achievement of HND, Degree or NVQ4 is also an essential requirement for the role. 

Some of our student activities will be delivered outside of core working hours, therefore you will need to be willing to demonstrate some flexibility in your working hours. If you thrive on variety and are comfortable juggling a broad range of responsibilities, then we would very much like to hear from you! 

What we can offer you 

The salary range for the role starts at £30,942 per annum.
