Salary:   £31,406 to £38,587 per annum

The University of Southampton is a research-intensive University, with annual research income in excess of £120 million.  Research and Innovation Services (RIS) is now recruiting one Research Funding Officer in its Research Funding Development team to support our Associate Vice-President Interdisciplinary Research drive our interdisciplinary research strategy. 

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to work with our Schools and academics, to facilitate interdisciplinary research and bring researchers from different disciplines together to develop new research projects that will address societal challenges. Of graduate calibre and a proven track-record of making things happen, you’ll organise facilitation and training events, work with project teams and guide researchers on the UK research funding landscape, schemes and application process with a view to developing high-quality proposals. Astute and highly-motivated, you will call on your project management experience and knowledge of research funding to provide academic and research colleagues, expert advice and assistance in research funding (UK/international) and bid support.
