As Cleanroom Process and Characterisation Engineer you will undertake a mix of commercially oriented cleanroom fabrication and research activities, being responsible for the advanced characterisation facilities of the Sustainable Electronic Technologies (SET) Group. The role requires experience in a broad range of cleanroom processes including lithography, deposition, etch and other wafer scale processing as well as expertise in measurement techniques, such as Current-Voltage, Capacitance-Voltage, Thermo-electric, Hall measurements, Raman Spectroscopy, and Atomic Force Microscopy. You will work on a number of concurrently running cleanroom based projects and will need to manage the timely delivery to meet client expectations. You will carry out and support others in collaborative research based on the equipment in the characterisation facilities. You will maintain these facilities and undertake training of researchers and students.
