An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences Research and Enterprise Support Team. You will be responsible for providing professional, operational administrative assistance to the academic community and other professional service units.

This includes acting as the first point of contact for a range of enquiries, providing event support, sharing news and best practices, researching information and managing content for team intranet sites, organising and servicing meetings and administrating for research and enterprise bid application processes. You will be liaising with a wide range of individuals, from external partners and senior staff and colleagues across the University. 

You will be an excellent team player with the ability to work proactively. You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach to managing a busy and complex workload. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are required as is commitment to providing an excellent service.

You should have previous work experience within an administrative or customer service focused role and able to demonstrate being able to use your own initiative, independently problem-solve and manage your own time effectively. This position requires you to provide a high level of confidentiality, have strong IT skills, for example being a competent user of Microsoft Office or similar software.
