Would you like to join us as a Buildings Supervisor? We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused person with an eye for detail to join our Buildings Management Team within the University of Southampton Library.

With a keen eye for attention to detail, you will identify and report faults, and work with Estates to ensure maintenance is carried out. With your organisational skills, you will have oversight of day-to-day health and safety management: reporting issues, conducting building inductions, monitoring and recording checks and compliance.

The Buildings Management Team is primarily based at the Hartley Library on the University's Highfield Campus, but also works with the staff teams across all of our sites. You will work with colleagues across the Library and the Estates departments of the University and our partner organisations to ensure that our environments are maintained effectively for our staff, students, and visitors.

The successful applicant should have experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally with some facilities or premises experience.
