The role

We are seeking a Research Culture Manager to be an advocate for collaborative, inclusive, and supportive research culture.  You will work closely with the Associate Vice-Presidents Interdisciplinary Research through the development and delivery of a Research Culture action plan. Your ability to develop new ideas will enable you to drive a significant culture change.  You will engage with University academics and professional service colleagues to advance a portfolio of projects to improve our research culture – key to the realisation of the University strategy.  

About you

Prospective candidates will have excellent organisational and communication skills, relevant project management experience, and the ability to work confidently and assertively with a range of senior stakeholders, using negotiating and influencing skills to achieve successful outcomes.  An understanding of the research lifecycle and contemporary research culture in a Higher Education setting is essential for this role.  Training, coaching and access to external advisors will support the technical aspects of this role.
