We are looking for a software developer to join the University’s Institutional Records team, which maintains the vital student records system and supports our student administration team. This is a one-year fixed term contract.
You will be responsible for the defect resolution, security incidents/improvements, technical documentation. and providing input to end user documentation and training and third-line support for these services.
Candidates should have experience in either or both of:
· Programming in Oracle PL/SQL,
· Developing, configuring or extending Ellucian Banner 9 pages.
Candidates should show software engineering experience in some of the following:
· Java
· JavaScript
· Unix/Linux Scripting
· Working in a ServiceNow or other incident/task workflow environment.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative and understand the value of delivering reliable and stable services with clear and concise documentation. As a software developer, you would be expected to work with your Team Lead proactively to identify, plan and manage your own workload, as well as working closely with various technical and projects teams.
