 An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Administrator to work on the DISCA study based in the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education at Aldermoor Health Centre.

The DISCA study is a multi-centre project funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Programme Grants, led from the University of Southampton by Professors Cathy Hill and Sam Cortese in Southampton. The DISCA study aims to help parents and carers of children with ADHD to manage their children’s sleep problems.

The postholder will be responsible to the Academic Programme Manager and the programme leads and will support all in the overall efficient day-to-day management of the research programme.  The successful applicant will have previous experience of providing administrative support in a health-related environment. You will have good working knowledge of standard IT packages; including Microsoft Word, excel and Outlook. You will be an excellent communicator who appreciates the importance of effective communication and confidentiality when answering queries from study participants, the study team and other staff by phone or email.
