Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise is an essential part of the University, responsible for supporting our students and graduates to plan their future career paths and develop essential enterprising skills. It’s an exciting time to join the team as with the backing of the University, we are expanding from 35 to approximately 55 staff over the next few months.
You will be responsible for managing information and systems for the newly formed Data, Information & Operations function within Careers, Employability & Student Enterprise (CESE). The role covers 3 key areas: overseeing development of careers information resources and platforms, managing and maintaining the IT applications and support systems (including relationships with suppliers) and leading management of the public facing access points of CESE.
You will possess an HND / degree in information management or systems or equivalent work experience. You will have significant experience working in a relevant field, such as information management / careers / customer service and have knowledge of the key issues influencing the Higher Education environment. You will have significant experience of improving systems for the benefit of users and have the ability to manage a team of 5 staff.
