Faculty Operating Service (FOS) - Faculty of Medicine

You are invited to apply for the post of Administrator based at Southampton General Hospital. This is a Part Time role working 28 hours per week.

This post falls within the Faculty Operating Service (FOS), Medicine. The FOS is a professional service to the University led by the Associate Director of Faculty Operations. The service works with Faculty Deaneries and Senior Leadership Teams to support those areas of work which provide essential services to the Faculties core business and underpins the achievement of the strategic objectives of the University.

As Administrator you will provide comprehensive administrative and PA support to the six Associate Deans and the Associate Director of Faculty Operations as well supporting events across the Faculty. 

You must have previous experience within an administrative role, hold good knowledge of Microsoft IT packages, and be able to work independently, to manage workload and meet tight deadlines, and to work as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, awareness of University processes and regulations would be an advantage.
