Procurement Manager

The Procurement service plays an important role in supporting colleagues in procuring a diverse range of goods, services and works which are critical to the successful operation of the University. As a Procurement Manager you will support Senior Category Managers in delivering a variety of procurements across a broad range of categories within a University environment.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to work with colleagues from all corners of the organisation in ensuring our high-quality procurement arrangements reflect the needs and ambitions of the University strategy.
About you
As a member of the team, you will need a good level of commercial acumen and the ability to build strong, productive relationships with a diverse stakeholder group – including academic and research staff, heads of the University’s professional services functions and key external suppliers and partners.
You should have previous experience of working in a procurement environment, managing high value and complex tenders, ensuring compliance with internal & external procurement regulations, managing multiple projects, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering value for money & associated benefits.
