Casual Work
UniWorkforce administer casual work assignments for the University of Southampton, conduct right to work checks and help source suitably skilled and qualified workers for a wide range of short-term assignments.
There are two ways of being offered assignments with UniWorkforce:
- You may be offered work directly by University staff (Private pool)
- You can join our mailing pool and we will contact you about suitable work assignments
In order to be considered for assignments or to be registered and paid for any casual work you must complete the online registration form (link below).
You will be asked to apply for the ‘private pool’ where University staff can offer you work directly. When you register you can consent to the ‘mailing pool’ which enables UniWorkforce to contact you regarding suitable work assignments. Once registered you will need to provide documents to UniWorkforce to prove your right to work in the UK, you cannot start any work for the University until this has been provided.
For any assignment offered, either via the private pool or mailing pool you will need to complete a short application form. You only need to complete this once; subsequent applications will use the same information which you can edit.
